to experience some of the best cold water diving in the world. Nestled in the temperate rainforest on a small island in a remote corner of the Pacific coast of Canada, God’s Pocket Resort offers a comfortable and convenient launching pad to some of the world’s best cold-water diving.

The world class dive sites of Browning Pass are just a short boat ride away from God’s Pocket Bay (aptly named for its protected waters and cozy cove). This area is home to a mind-boggling concentration and diversity of marine life.

A week of diving at God's Pocket consists of a 6 night stay at our off grid lodge with 5 full dive days. Each dive day you will have the opportunity to go out on 3 boat dives, and you’ll be fed 3 delicious meals. Dives are typically 45min – 1hr long to match the slack tides, and when you’re done you’ll be hoisted up on our dive elevator without having to take off a single fin. We also offer 1 night / evening dive in the bay per week.

1. Each diver must have been COLD WATER diving within the last 60 days

2. Have an Advanced Diver or higher dive certification

3. Have a minimum of 100 logged dives (50 of which must be COLD WATER/DRYSUIT dives)

4. Be Nitrox Certified--NITROX IS INCLUDED

5. Dive Accident Insurance is Required.

It takes approximately 4+ hours to drive from Nanaimo, to Port Hardy. We recommend a stop in Campbell River for gas, lunch, and to pick up supplies (any food, beverages, and alcohol you want to bring with you).

Sept. 12--Ferry to Vancouver Island: 7:45AM from Tsawwassen to Duke Point (Nanaimo)

Sept. 18--Ferry from Vancouver Island: 3:15PM from Duke Point to Tsawwassen.
